soil vapour extraction
(SVE)
Soil Vapour Extraction (SVE) is a technique used to remove volatile (VOCs) and semi volatile organic (sVOCs) compounds from the soil. This method involves the installation of extraction wells and the application of a vacuum to draw out vapours. We assess the type and extent of contamination to design an SVE system that maximises VOC removal while minimising disruption to the site.
