Since our company’s formation in 1992, BIOGENIE UK Remediation Ltd has always led the way in the remediation of contaminated sites and materials market.

Now part of the Ortec Group, we offer financial stability and one of the largest dedicated teams of on-site remediation and enabling work experts supported by our network of off-site soil treatment facilities.

We are also accredited to Construction Line Gold, CHAS Advanced, SMAS SSIP PC and contractor, Alcumus SSIP, Builders Profile, South Wales Construction Safety, ALL Wales safety partnership, the South Wales IOSH Group, Achilles UVDB Silver Plus, Achilles UVDB Building Confidence, Achillies Global Energy Gold Desktop Tier 3 and Cyber Essentials Plus.

90% of our employees hold a CSCS platinum card, and we have been RoSPA Gold Award winners for the past 10 years in a row recently being awarded the RoSPA President’s Award in 2024.

We are licensed to undertake on-site soil and groundwater treatment under our Mobile Treatment Licenses in England and Wales (EAWML30379), Scotland (WML/L/1062905) and Northern Ireland (LN/11/35). We have WAMITAB, COTC accredited personnel who ensure that remediation treatments are implemented to fully comply with Environment Agency requirements.

In 2011, Biogenie won a Bronze Performance Beyond Compliance Award as part of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, and continue to comply with the scheme on many of our projects.
